Room for unhindered development – at Hobo Hotel Stockholm

Stockholm spans over 14 islands and a piece of the Swedish mainland. Scandinavia’s largest city is the center of the creative scene of Northern Europe. And since March 2017, that scene has a new home in the city’s Norrmalm district: the Hobo Hotel. Here, what is certainly the most private space in a hotel – the bathroom – bears the marks of hansgrohe, with high-quality faucets and showers.

Hotel breathes new life into the quarter

The Hobo Hotel is located in “Stockholm City,” as the modern business center of Norrmalm is also called. While the building is centrally located between the main rail station and the popular Kungsträdgården park, Brunkebergstorg – the stretch of road characterized by structures dating to the 1970s – had grown somewhat forgotten in recent decades. Owned by Nordic Hotels & Resorts, a company belonging to Norwegian entrepreneur Petter Stordalen, the hotel has breathed new life into the quarter – in tandem with its adjoining sister hotel: At Six. Award-winning industrial designer Werner Aisslinger received the commission for the interior.

After an eventful day in Sweden’s bustling capital, guests at the Hobo Hotel freshen up under the Croma 220 Air 1jet shower pipe. The hand shower that goes with it, with four stages of rain spray, is the perfect complement. Even the height of the Talis C Highriser makes hand washing more comfortable. The Hansgrohe Talis C faucet category comes with a slender, cylindrical base set and a tapered, bell-shaped base. The characteristically designed handle is comfortable to operate.
