Hansgrohe AG was one of the first to back environmentally friendly production and products, the careful use of resources and the use of renewable energies. For many years, Hansgrohe AG has been making its contribution to reducing environmentally harmful carbon dioxide emissions by resolutely applying a system of environmental management, and also by optimising its business processes in accordance with ecological criteria. Solar power or waste management, water recycling or heat recovery, “green” information technology or paying the travel expenses of employees commuting on public transport – Hansgrohe AG takes its responsibility towards the environment and society seriously, and sets the standards here time and again. And not only since climate change has been dominating the headlines. “We at Hansgrohe are committed to this issue”, confess Siegfried Gänßlen, Managing Director, and Klaus Grohe, Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Especially if the aim is to make better - i.e. ecologically and economically sustainable - use of water. It is not without good reason that the company and its products have been awarded numerous prizes for their exemplary commitment to protecting the environment, including the Environmental Award of the Federal State of Baden-Wuerttemberg. |
