More than 300 international awards
Design awards from around the world and top marks for innovation continually find their way to the Black Forest. In a tough competitive environment, Hansgrohe SE collects internationally coveted titles every year. And that is great for you too, as the recognized awards from independent judging panels underline the company’s demand for quality. They are a reliable guide for those searching for outstanding products. For example, the faucet and shower manufacturer from the Black Forest has won the “red dot – Best of the Best Design Award” several times, as well as the “iF Gold Product Design Award” and in 2010, the Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany – Germany’s most prestigious official design award, regarded as “the award of all awards”.
Hansgrohe is a design leader in the sector
The “iF awards” from International Forum Design (iF) are among the most important indicators of product and design quality. Hansgrohe SE is regularly among the winners of these competitions. Since 2008, the independent institution has also produced a ranking table, indicating companies’ level of success in the design competition for the iF award: Hansgrohe SE currently ranks 11th out of more than 2,000 companies. In doing so, it has left premium brands such as Daimler, Audi, Hewlett Packard, Nokia and Volkswagen in its wake, and is number one in the sanitation industry.
Our designers are also at the top of their game
Top marks from North America to the Far East: for Hansgrohe and Axor this confirms that they are on a steady course – product innovation and design provide greater comfort and increase the significance of bathrooms. Hansgrohe SE’s involvement with the creme de la creme of external creative minds was confirmed by the judging panel of the magazine “Euro” in 2009: four of the world’s best designers work with Hansgrohe and Axor. Tom Schönherr and Andreas Haug Rang are in 9th place in the current “iF ranking creative”. They have long shaped the Hansgrohe brand image through “Phoenix Design”, and are by far the most successful German team of designers. Find out more about our creative minds.
