Environment and sustainability – committed to success

Living Responsibly at Hansgrohe/Axor

Hansgrohe is an industry leader in sustainability and environmental and climate protection. Hansgrohe and its designer brand Axor have over a century’s old passion for water and regard it as a precious resource. Since 2007, the company has been a WaterSense® partner and is a proud member of the USGBC. One of the manufacturer’s achievements in sustainability is its EcoAIR technology, which adds air to every drop of water, enabling up to 40% water savings without sacrificing performance. Its low-flow 1.5 GPM faucet aerators also reduce water consumption by 30%. Beyond the products, the company prides itself on its global green practices and programs including: its use of alternative energy at its Offenburg, Germany production facility, its ISO 14001 certified U.S. manufacturing facility and its annual Water Symposium. In addition, Hansgrohe has a wide range of IAMPO R & T listed and CALGreen certified models. A wide range of products also contribute to LEED certification in the water efficiency category.

For Hansgrohe, climate protection, sustainability and a sense of responsibility mean:

  • Water-saving and energy-saving products which stand the test of time
  • Environmentally-friendly sites and manufacturing technologies
  • Global environmental protection projects and education for the sustainable management of water resources
  • Social responsibility
Hansgrohe AG is a “green” company – by conviction and by tradition.

Green is the company color: why the Black Forest bathroom and sanitation specialist takes environmental and climate protection so seriously.

At the invitation of Hansgrohe, international water experts meet once a year at the company headquarters in Schiltach.
