Trends Report - The Rise of Minimalism with Nicolas Grohe

Minamalism spans the globe as a comtemporary design direction.  It involves simple lines and efficient use of space; design reduced to the essentials with geometric shapes and sleek, clean lines.  Minimalism stems from purism, which was initiated in the 1920's by achitects like Le Corbusier and Ludwig Mies der Rohe, who also known for his adoption of the motto, "less is more."
